John Benjamin (KC7IRH)

John is Matt’s dad, he also grew up in Lake Stevens.  He was granted his ham radio Technician class license in the year 1995 and upgraded to General soon after.  He encouraged his wife and two boys to also get licensed, which they soon did.  Currently, he is active with the Snohomish County Department of Emergency Management Auxiliary Communications Service and the City of Marysville Emergency Management.
